From my observation, I've realized that couples are happier before they get married. It makes me wonder what really causes couples to lose the vibe and happiness they had when they were only dating compared to when they finally got married. Can someone help with this biting  question?

That's because they start to show their true character once they get married and it's mostly very ugly!

That's probably because at the stage of dating, both sides are excited about spending their lives together and they both try to maintain the relationship by doing things that would make both of them happy. They know that at the stage of dating any one of them could choose to leave the relationship at any time since there is no real commitment, but then at marriage both sides tend to relax since they have now finally settled together, they would feel as though it is not necessary to try to maintain the relationship by doing things that would please the other. They don't get out much together to fun places, they don't try to look sexy to stay attractive to each other, they start getting too used to themselves since they now leave together, they become bored of each other. However, this does not happen with all couples. Some still do keep the vibe on but for others, their happiness as married couples, tend to dwindle

It's because at marriages, people get comfortable and bored of each other. They don't put in any effort to impress each other and so there is no fun.

It is actually more sweeter in marriage when the love is true
